I'm ready for 2014 and just to prove it I have already finished my first sampler!
Of course I'm not going to tell you that I have been working on this one for some time how long you ask well.......
Scarlet Letter
Solitude, Religion, Virtue
stitched over one on 30 ct Linen by Weeks Dye Works
Needlepoint Silk #998, 921
The Black Forest by Goode Huswife
Stitched with Needlepoint Silk
maybe on Ink Spot Black by R&R
Cute little Thread winders by Niky's Creations
These are great for a quick start to finish project and look like you spent ages working on them.
Manifesto
Scarlet Letter
40ct silk gauze
A project that will be forever on going.
I think that I will be spending quite a bit of time on this Scarlet Letter sampler in order to move her out of my WIP basket and up on my wall.
I love the colors on Jane Parish and she has an unusual lay out that just draws me in.
Since I did have three finishes I could not resist a start I'm bad that way, but this one should go quickly.
Janet Reid 1835 Sampler by Chessie & Me
Stitched on 29 ct Glenshee
Simply Wool thread
Oh I just love stitching with wool it is a joy!
Well due to cold weather (cold for TN that is) I have no problem staying in and stitching.
I hope that those of you in the really cold areas of the country stay warm and safe and get to have many hours of stitching.
Enjoy!

Great choices. That's a lot of over one and it's just beautiful. You're off to a good start!
You have some very pretty work and lots of exciting WIPS.

Such an impressive variety of finishes and WIP's! I just love those little floss winders. Thanks for sharing them.
It's hard to believe that 'Religion' is actually stitched. It's so beautiful. Love the thread winders too. Lovely finishes Carmen and what a great start to 2014. Irene xxx
